shield placement question. - Guild Wars Forums

yes, i searched and found absolutely nothing on the topic.

notice in the pic there is a gap inbetween my arm and shield.

i know this is with most shields i use, but with sunreachs, its even worse. i mean the damned this just floats in mid air.

has anyone else noticed this? or is it just me?

There's lots of little details like that. On a side note, Emblazoned Defenders ftw!

yeah, my Crimson Carapace Shield does the same thing. Sometimes it's annoying, but I don't even notice it when I'm fighting.

It's also terrible on those Embossed Aegis things...nothing we can do about it really

They could at least put arm straps around them.

With shields they were probably made to hang out like that so they wouldn't clip into you (notice if it was alittle closer to you it'd be cutting through your shoulder), and it doesnt look THAT weird having a shield out like that.

They dont have this luxery with offhands, which also have a HUGE clipping problem on some models.

magma's shields and summit warlords are quite good ...they don't float extremely
